Author Café by Humana, an inclusive community space, was designed to foster social connections and engagement among Humana members, as well as with their care team. Our approach to creating a welcoming cafe environment involved seamlessly integrating layered brand messaging with social programming, in order to deliver a unique member experience.
Drawing inspiration from Author by Humana’s vibrant brand colors, we incorporated custom patterns and iconography that reflect the diverse programming available at the café. Taking a human-centered approach to design allowed us to design a space that is universally receptive of all individuals. The final deliverable was a conceptual toolkit that serves as a blueprint for all future Author by Humana cafés.
